Ramachander<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Omkaram, Bindu Samyuktham,<br \/>\nNithyam, dyayanthi yogina,<br \/>\nKamadam, mokshadam chaiva,<br \/>\nOmkaraya Namo nama. 1<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Salutations and salutations to letter \u201com\u201d,<br \/>\nWhich is meditated as a letter Om with a dot,<br \/>\nDaily by great sages,<br \/>\nAnd leads them to fulfillment of desires,<br \/>\nAnd attainment of salvation.<\/p>\n<p>Namanthi Rishayo deva,<br \/>\nNamanthyapsarasa gana,<br \/>\nNara namanthi, devesam,<br \/>\nNakaraya namo nama. 2<\/p>\n<p>Salutations and salutations to letter \u201cna\u201d,<br \/>\nWhich is saluted by great sages,<br \/>\nWhich is saluted by groups of divine maidens,<br \/>\nAnd which is saluted by men and the king of devas.<\/p>\n<p>Mahadevam, Mahathmanam,<br \/>\nMahadyanaparayanam,<br \/>\nMaha papa haram devam,<br \/>\nMakaraya namonama. 3<\/p>\n<p>Salutations and salutations to letter \u201cma\u201d,<br \/>\nWhich is saluted as greatest god,<br \/>\nWhich is saluted by great souls,<br \/>\nWhich is greatly meditated and read,<br \/>\nAnd which is the stealer of all sins.<\/p>\n<p>Shivam Shantham jagnannatham,<br \/>\nLokanugraha karakam,<br \/>\nShivamekapadam nithyam,<br \/>\nShikaraya namo nama. 4<\/p>\n<p>Salutations and salutations to letter \u201cShi\u201d,<br \/>\nWhich is Lord Shiva,<br \/>\nWho is the abode of peace,<br \/>\nWho is the lord of the universe,<br \/>\nWho is the one who blesses the world,<br \/>\nAnd which is the one word that is eternal.<\/p>\n<p>Vahanam Vrushabho yasya,<br \/>\nVasuki Kanda Bhooshanam,<br \/>\nVame Shakthi daram devam,<br \/>\nVakaraya namo namo. 5<\/p>\n<p>Salutations and salutations to letter \u201cva\u201d,<br \/>\nWhich the God who holds in his left Goddess Shakthi,<br \/>\nAnd who rides on a bull,<br \/>\nAnd wears on his neck the snake Vasuki.<\/p>\n<p>Yathra yathra sthitho deva,<br \/>\nSarva vyapi maheswara,<br \/>\nYo guru sarva devanam,<br \/>\nYakaraya namo nama. 6<\/p>\n<p>Salutations and salutations to letter \u201cya\u201d,<br \/>\nWhich is the teacher of all the devas,<br \/>\nWho exists wherever gods exist,<br \/>\nAnd who is the great God spread everywhere<\/p>\n<p>Phalsruthi:<br \/>\nShadaksharamidham sthothram,<br \/>\nYa padeth Shiva Sannidhou,<br \/>\nShivalokamavapnothi, Shivena Saha modathe.<\/p>\n<p>Benefit:<br \/>\nIf one reads this prayer of six letters,<br \/>\nIn front of God shiva,<br \/>\nHe would reach the world of Shiva,<br \/>\nAnd be always happy with him.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hayagriva Sahasranaamam <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">OmkAram Bindhu samyuktham nithyam dhyAyanthi yOgina:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">kaamadham Mokshadham chaiva OmkArAya namO nama:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Meaning<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The Yogis meditate always on the syllable &#8222;Om&#8220;. This Om fulfils our wishes in this world andleads us to Moksham. Salutations to this syllable &#8222;Om&#8220;. Combination of the OmkAra PraNavam with different BheejAksharams leads to individual HayagrIva Sahasra Naamams. Some times, the BheejAksharams (<\/strong><strong>SRI HAYAGRIVA SAHASRA NAAMAMS AS MANTHRAM:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>&#8222;MananAth thrAyathE ithi manthra:&#8220; <\/strong><strong>is the definition of the Manthram used in esoteric and exoteric worship<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Manthram is the one that protects one through meditation. The sound vibration of the manthrams protects one who recites the manthrams. Sound is recognized as the arTAsrayam (shelter of meaning) from the specific combination of the 50 aksharams from<\/strong> \u0905 (<strong>a) to <\/strong><strong>\u2018&#8216; <\/strong><strong>(ksha). Sound is also the nature of the syllables (varNAs) composing it. The specificsound pattern is equated to Sabdha Brahman and SabdhArTa Brahman.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">SABDHA BRAHMAN<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Meaning:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>(&#8222;a-u-ma&#8220;) are united. <\/strong><strong>&#8222;<\/strong>A<strong>&#8220; <\/strong><strong>(a) refers to Lord VishNu, that all-encompassing, allpervading, who is the Creator, Protector and Terminator of all Universe. <\/strong><strong>&#8222;<\/strong>m<strong>&#8222;<\/strong><strong>(ma\/makAram) refers to the Jeeva, the individual soul. The intervening (u) binds them in a neverbreakablelink, in which Jeeva is subservient to VishNu in a unique, one-to-one, intimate relation &#8230;. That Jeeva is for Para Brahman and only for <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>(&#8222;a-u-ma&#8220;) are united. <\/strong><strong>&#8222;<\/strong>A<strong>&#8220; <\/strong><strong>(a) refers to Lord VishNu, that all-encompassing, allpervading, who is the Creator, Protector and Terminator of all Universe. <\/strong><strong>&#8222;<\/strong>m<strong>&#8222;<\/strong><strong>(ma\/makAram) refers to the Jeeva, the individual soul. That Jeeva is for Para Brahman and only for Him is the effect of concealed 4th case (aaya), later to be explicitly put as &#8222;NaarAyaNAya&#8220;.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">BhindavE nama: <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>(113th NaamA)\/ Bhindhu is the dot over a letter indicating anusvara. In the<\/strong> <strong>OmkAra PraNavam, the dot over <\/strong><strong>&#8222;<\/strong>A<strong>&#8220; <\/strong><strong>(a) and <\/strong><strong>&#8220; <\/strong><strong>(u) to form the OmkAram is the Bindhu.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">VisargAya nama: <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(114th Naama)\/ Salutations to the light, splendour. The final beatitude associated with Lord HayagrIvan. In writing, Visargam is represented by (:), a distinct, hard aspiration and marked by two perpendicular dots (:). Example &#8211; nama:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">DhAraNAya nama: <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(204th NaamA:)\/ DhAraNa means single-minded concentration. In AshtAnga YogA, it is the sixth limb, where the mind is concentrated on the Lord with fixed attention to gain Yoga Siddhi. Here Yoga HayagrIvan in dhaaraNa stage is saluted.
