I\u2019m told the UN is monitoring arrests of refugees returning to Syria, but staying quiet about what it finds. I\u2019ve been trying for months to get basic figures from @UNCHR<\/a> and @IOM<\/a>, contacting multiple press\/media offices repeatedly without success. <\/strong>https:\/\/t.co\/eOpTUmC9KA<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Detention, torture, & being forced to inform on your relatives: this is a taste of what some of Syria\u2019s refugees are experiencing upon return.
