Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (Marathi: \u0921\u094a.\u092d\u0940\u092e\u0930\u093e\u0935 \u0930\u093e\u092e\u091c\u0940 \u0906\u0902\u092c\u0947\u0921\u0915\u0930) (14 April 1891 \u2014 6 December 1956), also known as Babasaheb, was an Indian nationalist, jurist, Dalit, political leader, activist, philosopher, thinker, anthropologist, historian, orator, prolific writer, economist, scholar, editor, revolutionary<\/span> and the revivalist of Buddhism in India<\/span>. He was also the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. Born into a poor Untouchable family, Ambedkar spent his whole life fighting against social discrimination, the system of Chaturvarna \u2014 the Hindu categorization of human society into four varnas<\/span> \u2014 and the Indian caste system. He is also credited with having sparked the Dalit Buddhist movement. Ambedkar has been honoured with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Arising Light is about the life of Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (1891-1956) and social welfare in India. Uplifting himself from the community of untouchables in India he educated himself in the West and became a national leader in India’s struggle for equality and justice.<\/span><\/p>\n

The main endeavour of this avant garde people\u2019s movement is to demolish orthodox and clich\u00e9d socio-religious inequity and thereby ensure peace and prosperity.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Following in the lofty tenets of Mahatma Phule, Rajshri Shahu Maharaj & Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar, the Dalit Panther of India shall strive to empower the socially and economically challenged by preseving their equanimity & dignity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dalit Panther of India shall strive to contribute substantially to creation of an equitable society to ensure tranquility and well being for all through creation sense self-esteem and karma yoga.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We believe that prosperity is a function of people empowerment and self-knowledge. Dalit Panther of India are committed to empowering the less fortunate through education and through organizing themselves in a manner that at once liberates their inadequacies and insecurities and delivers self-respect. This means a complete demolition of orthodoxy and archaic practices of caste system which have led to unfortunate pseudo-apartheid in the Society.<\/span><\/p>\n

In doing this Dalit Panther of India shall strive to establish a social order in the highest traditions democracy promoting a meaningful national integration that leads individuals to becoming respectable Global Citizens.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Social acceptance and a desire to help people reach their highest aspirations in an manner that will create harmony shall be the bulwark of all our actions<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Self-esteem, mutual trust and respect would be the guiding force of all our thoughts as the route to creating a happy and well-to-do society<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4. To us progress is only a function of equitability and mutuality<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

5. And finally, all our aspirations, utterances and actions shall be guided by singular thought \u2013 \u201cFor the good of all, so that each one lives with dignity & can contribute to the progress of the nation, in particular and the world at large\u201d.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When we see the world around us, we are appalled and saddened by instances of injustice and inequality perpetrated by one human on another. The hurt and pain often times carries over to several generations.<\/span><\/p>\n

This desire for domination and power has often led men to monstrosity, inflicting atrocities and untold miseries to fellow humans. And, this must be stemmed and vanquished! Not by hatred and aggressiveness but by assertively spreading the message of love, equitability, mutuality and universal brotherhood.<\/span><\/p>\n

And indeed, when we look upon such illustrious souls like Mahatma Phule, Mahatma Gandhi, Rajashri Shahu Maharaj, Baba Saheb Ambedkar and even Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa and Nelson Mandela, we see that hope. Yes, indeed, my colleagues join me in saluting to them for what they have done for bringing sanity and rightful dignity to the Mankind.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being soldiers of Humanity, I am privileged to lead a group of global citizens committed to creating peace, harmony and self-respect as the path to socio-economic success. We, at Dalit Panther of India, staunchly believe this though daunting is an achievable objective.<\/span><\/p>\n

We believe this can be done through<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Inculcating a sense of self-esteem and tolerance through the practice of \u201cVinamrata\u201d amongst all.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Whilst Literacy is a necessity, equitable progress can only come through appropriate Education<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Honesty of purpose and dedication to rise above pettiness even in trying times and the creating sustainable equanimity in the socio-economic environment around us.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
