Der Band Schleppen, Schleusen, Helfen befasst sich mit unterschiedlichen Formen, Phasen und Motiven
der organisierten und individuellen Fluchthilfe bzw. Schlepperei seit den 1930er Jahren bis in die Gegenwart
und rückt auch die Abschottungspolitik der potentiellen Zufluchtsländer als wesentliche Ursache für das Phänomen ins Blickfeld.
