Krieg und Krisen sind vorbei. Seit dem Ende des Krieges 1999 hat sich die Lage im Kosovo weitgehend beruhigt, die einstige serbische Provinz ist seit 2008 unabhängig und für deutsche Soldatinnen und Soldaten scheint ein Ende ihrer Mission in Sicht. Damit würde der längste Auslandseinsatz der Bundeswehr zu Ende gehen.
