According to the report, private sector enterprises accounted for the bulk of global employment in 2016; they employed 2.8 billion individuals, representing 87 per cent of total employment. The sector, which also covers medium-sized firms, accounts for up to 70 per cent of all jobs in some Arab States, and well over 50 per cent in parts of sub-Saharan Africa.

1938 floh Gerhard Bronner über Brünn und England nach Palästina. Seinen Lebensunterhalt verdiente er sich als Straßensänger, Barpianist und Komponist. 1948 kehrte er nach Wien zurück und trug eigene Chansons mit Klavierbegleitung u. a. in der „Marietta-Bar“ vor. 1950 stieß er zur Gruppe Kehlmann, Merz, Qualtinger und wirkte bei deren „Reigen 51“ als Komponist, Pianist und Conférencier mit. 1952 brachte diese Gruppe ihr erstes Kabarett-Programm „Brettl vor’m Kopf“ heraus. 1953 bis 1955 war Bronner in Hamburg beim NDR.
Qualtinger war u. a. Statist an er Staatsoper, Gasthörer am Reinhardt-Seminar, Journalist. Er begann zu schreiben und schloss sich einer Studentenbühne an. 1946 trat er im „Studio der Hochschulen“ auf, spielte danach im „Lieben Augustin“ unter der Direktion von Carl Merz (1946/47).
