UN expert on #IDPs Chaloka Beyani urges the international community to take a deeper look at the massive forced dispacement in #Syria .
“In Syria, there are now 6.8 million people in need of protection and assistance of whom 3.1 million are children, the number of refugees seeking asylum in neighbouring countries has now reached 2 million,” said Beyani, concerned about discrimination and restrictions on entry imposed by neighbouring countries.
