The first annual Forum on Business and Human Rights involved over 1,000 participants from more than 80 countries across all relevant stakeholder groups. In the lead up to the second annual Forum on Business and Human Rights, taking place from 2 to 4 December, the UN Human Rights Office will host its second Google + Hangout on Business and Human Rights on Monday, 18 November at 4.30 pm CET: http://google.com/+unitednationshumanrights

The Hangout will focus on the potential of OHCHR’s regional forums on Business and Human Rights to raise awareness of business and human rights issues, promote good practices on the ground, and contribute to global efforts to implement the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The Google+ Hangout will be moderated by Lene Wendland, the Adviser on Business and Human Rights at the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR). Participants will include Michael Addo, Member of the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights, Patricia Nyaundi, Secretary of Kenya’s National Commission on Human Rights, and Jorge Daniel Taillant, Executive Director of the Center for Human Rights and Environment (CEDHA).
