ما می دانیم که محرومیت و تبعیض های قومی و مذهبی در ایران میتواند منجر به واکنش های تهاجمی مثل حادثه مذکور شود، ما احساس تبعیض شدگان را درک می کنیم اما قویاً معتقد هستیم که واکنشهای تهاجمی و توهین به ملیتها و مذاهب و آداب و رسومشان و دیگر شعارهای مغایر با بیانیه جهانی حقوق بشر در تعارض با اهداف مشروع جنبش های رفع تبعیض است و ایجاد شکافهای عمیق قومی و مذهبی نهایتاً بضرر جنبش های رفع تبعیض و بسود حاکمیت استبدادی خواهد بود.
ما از انسانهای منقسم به ملتها و مذاهب مختلف ملتمسانه درخواست می کنیم که در مواجه با همدیگر خویشتن داری کنند و تحت تاثیر هیجانات آتی از توهین و تحقیر و رفتارهای تهاجمی پرهیز کنند.
