Auch in St. Pölten wurden gemeinschaftlich die Schirme aufgespannt! Im Anschluss an den Umbrella March war im Cinema Paradiso der Dokumentarfilm „Purple Movie“ zu sehen.
Der Marsch führte vom Schloss Mirabell zum Mozartplatz. Die Schirme erfüllten nicht nur ihre symbolische Funktion, auf den internationalen Flüchtlingsschutz hinzuweisen, sondern Schützten die TeilnehmerInnen auch vor dem Regen.
Im Einkaufszentrum Oberwart (EO) Informierte SOS-Mitmensch Burgenland die Bevölkerung über die Situation von Flüchtlingen. SOS wurde dabei unterstützt von der Franziskusgemeinschaft Pinkafeld, den grünen Pensionistinnen und zahlreichen engagierten Einzelpersonen.

Hungary’s parliament today overwhelmingly approved the construction of a controversial fence on the border with Serbia to keep out migrants, under new legislation that also tightens asylum application rules.
Wer in Ungarn einen Asylantrag stellt, soll künftig selbst für Kost und Unterkunft während der Antragsbearbeitung zahlen!
Das bedeutet, dass die Behörden Geld und Wertgegenstände von Migrant_innen zu diesem Zweck beschlagnahmen oder die Antragsteller_innen zu gemeinnütziger Arbeit verpflichten können.

Ungarn ist offenbar nun wieder bereit, aus anderen EU-Ländern zurückgesandte Flüchtlinge zu übernehmen. Laut einer Aussendung der ungarischen Botschaft in Österreich vom Montag hat die ungarische Migrationsbehörde den anderen EU-Staaten am 3. Juli eine entsprechende Entscheidung mitgeteilt.

Danke an die KollegInnen von der Österreichischen Gewerkschaftsjugend für den Hinweis. Leider ist das Gesetz so schon beschlossene Sache.
Besonders ärgerlich, weil der Aspekt der Bildung und Ausbildung für die meisten Flüchtlinge – und ganz besonders für die Minderjährigen – noch wichtiger ist als der schnelle Zugang zum Arbeitsmarkt.
In diesem Sinne: Weg mit den beschränkungen beim Zugangn zum Arbeitsmarkt für AsylwerberInnen. Integration vom ersten Tag an: Anerkennung von mitgebrachten Qualifikationen, Zugang zu Bildungs- und Ausbildungsmaßnahmen und natürlich Deutschkurse auf allen Niveaus.

seit Montag unterrichten verschiedene Freiwillige die Flüchtlinge, die in den Zelten gleich neben der PH wohnen, in Deutsch.
Wir möchten alle bitten (wirklich ALLE!), die auch vielleicht in den Ferien mithelfen wollen und Praxiserfahrung mit höchst motivierten, und höflichen Leuten (sowohl die Lernenden als auch die Lehrenden) sammeln möchten, sich bei uns (Nachricht auf fb, Mail an oeh@ph-ooe.at) zu melden!
Es ist eine tolle Chance sich einmal mit sozio-kulturellen Aspekten, Unterrichten, Teamarbeit und Erwachsenbildung zu beschäftigen.
Montag ist zB vermutlich wieder eine Teambesprechung.
Wir können viel bewirken und profitieren ALLE am Ende davon!

ÖFFENTLICHER DEUTSCHKURS
Am Donnerstag, den 09. Juli um 17 Uhr am Stock-Im-Eisen-Platz in Wien wird zum zweiten Mal ein von UKI inszenierter „öffentlicher Deutschkurs für AsylwerberInnen“ organisiert.
Das UKI hat nun zum zweiten Mal beschlossen, eine symbolische Deutschstunde in der Öffentlichkeit abzuhalten. Diesmal werden Persönlichkeiten aus den Bereichen der Kunst, Kultur, Politik und Medien sowie Repräsentanten verschiedener Flüchtlingsorganisationen in Wien teilnehmen, um die österreichische Bundesregierung nachdrücklich auf die völlig unzureichende Asylpolitik und auf die katastrophale Situation der Hilfesuchenden hinzuweisen. Ziel der Aktion ist es, eine Klasse mit 12 Persönlichkeiten zu besetzen. Der iranische Filmregisseur Arash T. Riahi wird auch dieses Mal die Aktion leiten.
Wir möchten Sie einladen mit uns am Donnerstag, den 09. Juli von 17 bis 19 Uhr am Stock-Im-Eisen-Platz in Wien an diesem öffentlich abgehaltenen Deutschunterricht als „Lernende/r“ teilzunehmen und sich uns anzuschließen.

Er will wissen, ob sie noch leben. 70 Pakete wurden heute gespendet, das ist eine großartige Nachricht, aber es gibt auch eine schlechte Nachricht: Es fällt uns schwer, aber wir können noch nichts ausgeben. In Traiskirchen sind 3.000 Flüchtlinge. 70 Pakete reichen nicht. DESHALB: Schnürt ein Willkommenspaket, bringt es zu uns, TEILT DIESES POSTING. Wir brauchen mehr Waren, als wir jetzt haben.
