Last week there were many dramas that took place regarding the international soccer association known as FIFA. Many of its top officials were arrested and more were indicted in the United States for brazenly corrupt practices. They were charged with accepting millions of dollars in bribes in assigning venues for the World Cup and other major soccer sporting events. The head of the association, Sepp Blatter, himself under suspicion, with rumors of improper personal and financial behavior, nevertheless was reelected to serve for a fifth term as the executive head of FIFA. His declared rival for the position was from a Moslem country and was backed by the large Moslem representation in…

So ein Unsinn ! Ein Vertreter der ungarischen Regierungspartei Fidesz behauptet: „Wer Flüchtlinge empfangen möchte, der ist gegen die Auslandsungarn.“ Es wird immer widerlicher. Bin gerade aus Srebrenica zurück. Schatten und Licht sind dort sehr nah beieinander. Auf der einen Seite: Die mehr als 8000 Ermordeten. Auf der anderen Seite das wunderbare „Haus der guten Töne“. Kinder lernen hier Deutsch, Instrumente, Singen – und mehr als das. Hier spielt es keine Rolle, ob Bosniake oder Serbe. Etwa 60 Kinder werden am Samstag vor dem Papst in Sarajevo singen. Ich war heute bei der Generalprobe. Die Kinder freuen sich schon auf den Auftritt.
