* Arash T. Riahi ist ein österreichischer Filmemacher iranischer Herkunft. Von 1995 bis 2002 war er freier Mitarbeiter des ORF und konzentrierte sich auf Dokumentationen, Musikvideos und Werbefilme. Riahi war 1998 Co-Gründer der Film– und Medienproduktionsfirma „Golden Girls Filmproduktion“. Neben Kurzfilmen, Werbespots und Musikvideos drehte Riahi einige Fernsehdokumentationen und Dokumentarfilme. Arash T. Riahis Spielfilmdebüt „Ein Augenblick Freiheit“ wurde 2008 mit dem Wiener Filmpreis ausgezeichnet.

Reflecting on Roma Rights and Media
The ERRC held a workshop entitled „Reflecting on Roma Rights and Media“ with professional journalists in Ohrid, Macedonia on 28 – 30 November. Journalist participants came from the ERRC’s new target countries, Albania, Kosovo, and Bosnia and Hercegovina. They gathered to discuss the state of reporting and representation of Roma in mainstream media, and how best to collaborate in shifting the narrative from prejudicial reporting to progressive and informed media coverage of Roma-related issues. At the workshop experts made presentations on topics such as Roma in Europe; European Institutions, European Integration and Roma; Human rights journalism; European Media and Roma; Romani Media or Roma in mainstream media; and European Politics, Far right movements and Roma in Europe.

Toby Cadman is an international criminal law specialist. He is a Barrister member at Nine Bedford Row International Chambers in London and a member of the International Criminal Bureau in The Hague.
He has served as counsel in a number of high profile international cases, appearing before the International Criminal Court, the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, the International Crimes Tribunal Bangladesh, the European Court of Human Rights, the Bosnian War Crimes Chamber and the UN Human Rights Committee.
