Liebe Freunde,
Warum stimmen 93% der Ärzte für einen Streik? In den letzten Tagen hat man dazu widersprüchliche Meldungen in den Medien gehört. Ich möchte Euch meine persönliche Sichtweise darlegen.
Lt. EU-Gesetz von 2003 dürfen Ärzte nicht länger als 48 Stunden arbeiten. Die Stadt Wien, die Gewerkschaft und die Ärztekammer haben 12 Jahre lang nichts unternommen um diesem Gesetz zu entsprechen. Erst als die EU mit Strafzöllen gedroht hat, ist die Stadt Wien aktiv geworden. Andere Bundesländer haben entweder früher mit der Umstellung begonnen (NÖ) oder längere Übergangsfristen gewährt (zB Tirol). Der Krankenanstaltenverbund (KAV) wollte die Reduktion der Arbeitszeit innerhalb eines halben Jahres umsetzen.
Wir Ärzte haben vor der Einführung des Arbeitszeitgesetzes im Schnitt 55-60Std/Wo gearbeitet. Jetzt dürfen wir maximal 48 Stunden arbeiten. In einigen großen Krankenhäusern (zB Rudolfstiftung) darf ab Oktober keine geplante Überstunde mehr anfallen. Die Anwesenheit der Ärzte wurde/wird um 1/3 reduziert (von 60 auf 40 Std). Stellt euch vor die Stadt Wien hätte mit einem Schlag ein Drittel aller Polizisten entlassen oder 1/3 aller Lehrer oder 1/3 aller Richter!
Die Folge des Ärztemangels ist, dass die Tagespräsenz der Ärzte massiv gekürzt worden ist, Spezialambulanzen wurden/werden geschlossen, die OP Leistung wurden/werden reduziert, junge Ärzte können nicht mehr ausgebildet werden.
Wir sollen, bei einer de-facto Reduktion von 1/3 aller Ärzte, dieselbe Leistung erbringen. Dies ist unmöglich und dagegen wehren wir uns!
Was mich persönlich jedoch noch mehr stört, ist der autoritäre Führungsstil des KAV Managements, der das Betriebsklima völlig zerstört hat. Mitarbeiter, die hausintern per email Kritik üben, werden in die Generaldirektion zitiert. Unter den Ausbildungsärzten kursiert das geflügelte Wort „Ich möchte nicht zum Rainer werden“ (Anmerkung: Gernot Rainer hat mehrfach Kritik am KAV geäußert, sein Vertrag wurde nicht verlängert). Während über uns ein Maulkorberlass ausgesprochen wurde, füttert die Generaldirektion die Medien täglich mit Falschmeldungen (30-50% mehr Gehalt, erhöhte Tagespräsenz, blah, blah, blah). Dies ist für mich als Mitarbeiter unerträglich.
Diese Reform wird einzig aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen gemacht. Medizinische Standpunkte spielen keine Rolle! Wem eine öffentliche Gesundheitsversorgung wichtig ist, geht mit uns auf die Straße!
In eurem eigenen Interesse (jeder ist/wird einmal Patient), seid solidarisch mit den Ärzten und unterstützt uns bei unserem Protest.

Außenminister Frank-Walter Steinmeier aber erklärte vor Tagen in Jekaterinburg den „Wiederaufbau Aleppos“ zu einem gemeinsamen deutsch-russischen Projekt im Rahmen „kultureller Annäherung“ – während Putins Bomber die Stadt gerade in Schutt und Asche legen.
Der Zynismus seiner Äußerung ist Steinmeier wohl nicht einmal aufgefallen.
