Die heute vom BMI veröffentlichen Asylantragszahlen von September zeigen eine sehr starke Abnahme der Asylanträge von unbegleiteten minderjährigen Flüchtlingen. Waren es im Juli 1.211, hat sich die Zahl im September mit 632 fast halbiert (viele Jugendliche reisen nach Deutschland weiter). Die UMF-Situation hat sich dadurch jedoch noch nicht entspannt. Viele Jugendliche befinden sich immer noch in der inadäquaten Bundesbetreuung oder in Notschlafstellen. Zumindest sind neue Quartiere im Aufbau …

Through our strategic litigation and landmark cases we have contributed to the development of the European Court Of Human Rights (ECHR) jurisprudence regarding article 14 of ECHR, which prohibits states from discriminating based on race and other grounds when securing people’s human rights. The ERRC supported Roma in litigating cases such as D.H. and others v Czech Republic (school segregation) and ŠeÄiÄ v Croatia (hate crimes).
The European Convention on Human Rights was signed in Rome on 4 November 1950 by 12 member states of the Council of Europe, and was the first instrument to give effect and binding force to from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
