Ungarn: Verschärftes Asylrecht in Kraft getreten
Mehrere Hundert 1-Forint-Jobber zum Bau des Grenzzauns zwangsverpflichtet – die meisten der Arbeiter seien ohne Ausbildung, einige hätten die Berechtigung zum führen „leichter Baumaschinen“. Eine Ablehnung der „Einladung“ hat eine dreijährige Sperre sämtlicher Sozialleistungen zur Folge, das Einzugsgebiet wurde auf 50 Kilometer von den jeweiligen Bauplätzen festgelegt. Die Verschärfung des Asylrechts wird von Menschenrechtsorganisationen kritisiert. Amnesty International warf der rechtskonservativen ungarischen Regierung vor, sich über völkerrechtliche Verpflichtungen hinwegzusetzen, weil die neuen Bestimmungen es ermöglichten, Asylanträge ohne eingehende Überprüfung pauschal abzulehnen. „Ungarn hat die Verpflichtung jenen beizustehen, die um Asyl ansuchen, und jeden Antrag individuell zu überprüfen“, hieß es in der Erklärung der Organisation. Amnesty verlangte außerdem eine Prüfung der neuen Bestimmungen durch das ungarische Verfassungsgericht.
