על פי עדויותיהם של קורבנות פיגוע הירי ליד עתניאל, צוות אמבולנס של הסהר האדום שהגיע לזירת האירוע נמנע מלהעניק טיפול רפואי לפצועים ועזב את המקום. לטענת הסהר האדום, אנשיו הגישו לפצועים עזרה ראשונה, אך משום שהרגישו מאוימים, ורק לאחר שראו כי הפצועים מטופלים על ידי צוותי מד“א, עזבו את הזירה. האזנה לקריאת העזרה כפי שנתקבלה במוקד מד“א מעלה שאלות קשות באשר להתנהלות האמבולנס באירוע. במידה ואכן נטש הצוות הרפואי של הסהר את הזירה מבלי שהעניק טיפול, מדובר במעשה מחפיר הסותר את מחויבותם הבסיסית של צוותי רפואה והצלה – להעניק טיפול ללא אפליה, כשהצלת הפצוע לנגד עיניהם.
כיוון שמדובר בנושא המהווה את ליבת האתיקה הרפואית המכתיב את פעולתם של כלל צוותי הרפואה באזור כמו בעולם כולו – עליו להיבדק על ידי ארגון מקצועי האמון על נושא זה. ואכן, נציגות הצלב האדום בישראל כבר מסרה כי תבחן את המקרה. לא ייתכן שצוותי רפואה המעורבים במעשים כאלה ימשיכו בתפקידם.

Schockiert und entsetzt verurteilt die Islamische Glaubensgemeinschaft in Österreich (IGGiÖ) die Anschlagsserie in Paris, bei der bereits weit über hundert Menschen zum Opfer gefallen sind.
Die volle Solidarität und das Mitgefühl gelten allen Betroffenen und deren Angehörigen.
Jedes Vergehen gegen das Leben, den Besitz, den Glauben, die Würde und die Herkunft des Menschen ist ein terroristischer Akt und jene, die diese Taten begehen, sind Terroristen. Diese Taten haben keinen Anspruch auf Legitimität egal ob sie durch Personen, Gruppen, Parteien oder Staaten verübt werden.
Gestern Beirut heute Paris, wer weiß, was morgen passieren und wen der Terror treffen würde; Gott bewahre uns! Wir alle müssen den Terrorismus jeglicher Art auf das schärfste verurteilen, gleich von wem und gegen wen er gerichtet ist.
Gleichzeitig verurteilen wir auch die Staaten, die die Terrorgefahr als Vorwand nutzen und die Menschenrechte mit ihren Füßen treten, die keine Kriegsrechte kennen und insbesondere unschuldige Kinder, Frauen und schutzlose Menschen umbringen.
